Better Days by =Halothane. This is a beautiful but haunting piece that I've loved since I first saw it. =Halothane manages to depict wonderfully realistic anthro characters that still maintain some fantasy charm. I particularly admire the lighting in this piece, it's dramatic but fits the mood perfectly.

(Title is random... just the Goo Goo Dolls song I'm listening to at the moment, and I didn't just want to name it 'Aeryn'. I'm so lame.)
Aeryn for ~strawpony. Subject to change as it hasn't been approved yet, but I've been working my ass off all night on it and I wanted to post it.
Be gentle, my backgrounds are lame, yeah, yeah... I know... but I did what I could.
I like how it turned out... the feel of it, at least. It's supposed to portray her softer side as she is a rather (from what Strop has told me) jaded character. I figured that first thing in the morning, everybody looks vulnerable.

I really am happy to see how well you are handling the people who are being just plain rude about you recieving a DD for this gorgeous picture. These people are two things: bitter and jealous. So to see how grateful you are for the nice comments and how calmly you deal with the rude comments makes me very happy.. especially considering how I've seen some other people react when others dont like their DD. This anthro is definitely one of my favorites that I've seen from you, and the shine of her eyes really capture raw emotion. I think thats what the Admin saw too. I also really like the tears still in the air from how she fell onto her bed.. like the sadness is so powerful its in the air.
